Jerusalem Botanical Garden

Being in Jerusalem we just can’t miss such amazing place as Jerusalem Botanical Garden which is famous with its more than 10,000 species of plants and flowers in an area of some 45 acres.

We started our excursion with a little travel on a small Botanic train, which takes passengers through the garden and keeps them happy and provides a welcome rest for walk weary feet. We went with it across central part of the garden continuing our travel with walk enjoying and just following our noses.

There are special sections there which represent the vegetation of the Mediterranean Basin, Southwest and Central Asia, Australia and New Zealand, North America and Europe. We’d spent in the garden almost all day long and didn’t get tired at all because there are so many interesting things there.

There is also a bonsai grove there tended by local enthusiasts, with the artificial lake and a restaurant on its shores where you can fortify yourself and to take a rest.

Holidays with Kids in Fiji

While it may seem strange to some but Fiji promises to be a great place for holidays with kids too.

Typically people do not think about Fiji islands when they plan holidays with kids. This is because Fiji is associated with lazy afternoons on the beach, swimming, kayaking or snorkelling as you sip on some delectable coconut exotic drink. But there are many things that Fiji has to offer kids too.

One of the latest and most kid friendly activities in Fiji is to zip across the rainforest on a line. This is something that you can do at Viti Levu’s Pacific Harbour. Even kids as young as 5 years, can be strapped into the harness to be sent flying across a 200 metre line. One of the best experiences is to hear them squeal with delight as the wind rushes through their hair.

There are many activities that you will be able to check out once you are on the beach with your kids. These activities include sand castle building, mini beach volleyball, ice-cream eating competitions, art and craft and much more. The kids are surely likely to make some new friends with memories that they will like to take away with them.
