We have spent short (for 1 week) but truly splendid vacation riding with a rental car from the north France through Belgian to Netherlands. Arriving to Paris and taking rent car without delay we head for Orleans, the planned start point of our travel.

By the way having the strict plan we figured out beforehand helped us not only to save time and money but enjoy the travel in full measure. There is a small and cozy but full of interesting something worth seeing old town Valkenburg in Netherlands where we spent unforgettable 2 days walking with out friends, watching Town Walls and beautiful Valkenburg old streets and houses, Dwingelrots, founded in the 12th century (Castle Rock), which is crowned by the ruined castle of the lords of Valkenburg, trying tasty food in many of restaurants we met on the way.

Then we visited the Valkenburg oldest train station in the Netherlands, that was built in 1853 and still in use then it was checked by us immediately. It is on the train line between Heerlen and Maastricht with connections from both sides every 15 minutes. The city center can be reached on foot from the train station in 5 minutes. So Maastricht is our next destination.

As I said Valkenburg counts plenty of restaurants; most of them proposing snacks, pizzas, Dutch tapes and touristy menus. Some of them, such as Amadeus, we loved the most. Amadeus is named after the famous composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart of course and designed in style of inspiration and always perfection.

The food is looking and tasting just great and trying the sate royal for lunch we didn’t have to eat for a while. Also we enjoy well cooked food, good portions, the friendly and fluent service there. So, we were not disappointed.

In US this is Miami of course. The most preferable time to visit is during October through April. Well, if you don’t know yet Miami and Miami Beach are two different cities – first one is a cosmopolitan city with a distinctly Latin American flavor, located on the mainland, and Miami Beach is placing on the outer bank and consists mainly of hotels and vacation apartments.

No doubt, goung to visit Miami and Miami Beach there are places which must be visited. Check up Miami news. First of all I mean fashionable South Beach – from Domino Park to downtown art galleries, from the splendors of Vizcaya to the sandy solitude of Virginia Key. The tip of Miami Beach south of Dade Avenue, SoBe is known for runway models and exclusive nightclubs and probably you can watch them and not only but world’s beautiful people stroll by sipping an iced tea at the News Café. I hope you will not pass trough the serious seafood and righteous hash browns at Joe’s Stone Crab on Washington Avenue. Don’t forget to visit Bass Museum of Art to enjoy with diverse collection of paintings, sculpture, and photography there then stroll along a self-guided tour of the Art Deco District starting on Ocean Drive.

Also wonderful Little Havana district which radiates from S.W. Eighth Street, or Calle Ocho might be very interesting for those who love to challenge an old-timer to a game at Domino Park, then top off a meal at the mirrored Cuban diner Versailles with flan de turron and café cubanos, and lend and ear as the locals complain about Castro. The district comes alive after dark at cool lounges, bars, restaurants, along with gallery events like Art Basel and Art Night events held the second Saturday of each month. Coral Gables or Key Biscayne also provide you a wide variety of attractions including tours by boat, plane, helicopter, walking or driving to spend the time unforgettably.

You dont have to be worried about your dress because it’s always casual there, with sundresses, jeans or walking shorts appropriate during the day. Only a few higher-class restaurants require jackets and ties, but most do not. Outdoor sports and swimming are open all seasons and a good sunscreen are essential even in the winter months.
